CROWN CLASSICS I

Day 1: Athens

Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Athens

The morning sightseeing tour features the Parthenon’s crowning beauty atop the Acropolis, the Erechtheum with its Porch of Maidens, the beautifully preserved Theseum, the Temple of Zeus and the Theatre of Dionysus. Remainder of day at leisure to explore this fascinating city. (B)

Day 3: Athens – Olympia

Depart this morning on the 3 day/ 2 night Classical Tour (or 4 day/ 3 night Classical Tour). Drive via the coastal road stopping at the Corinth Canal and continue to Epidaurus to visit the renowned amphitheatre with its perfect acoustics. Proceed to Mycenae to see the Lions Gate and Beehive Tomb before driving on to Olympia for an overnight stay. (B, D)

Day 4: Olympia – Delphi

This morning visit the site of the first Olympic Games; the sanctuary of the Olympian Zeus and the museum. Drive via Patras to Rion for the crossing to Antirion and arrive in Delphi for an overnight stay. (B, D)

Day 5: Delphi – Athens

Today walk the sacred way and visit the Castalia Spring, the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia and the Delphi Museum. Return to Athens this evening via the picturesque village of Arachova. Overnight Athens. (B)

Day 6: Athens

Day at leisure in Athens. Visit an art gallery, shop at one of the chic boutiques in Kolonaki or take a cable car ride up to Lycabettus Hill to enjoy a magnificent view of the city. Overnight Athens. (B)

Day 7: Athens

Transfer to the airport. (B)
